Lot of two pamphlets of letters from the Executive Branch to the House of Representatives - One detailing information for the 1820 census, and another detailing payments to a surveyor in the Midwest. Printed in 1821 and 1822 by Gales and Seaton in Washington, D.C. Both 6 pp, 9.25 x 6”, and removed from a larger book.

In fair condition, with toning and slight staining and foxing to pages. Some chips to edges of pages, especially on the 1822 letter. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing.

An interesting piece of Congressional history, with the 1821 letter containing correspondence from John Quincy Adams, who was then the Secretary of State and would be subsequently elected to the presidency in 1824.
