Rubber Re-Edge Kit for Tannoy 15"(38cm) Dual Concentrics

We are FUNTEQ, speaker parts sales & repair company in Japan, proficiently serving the domestic market since 2001. Our core operation always has been speaker repair, and supplying surrounds for an innumerable variety of speaker applications. Presently, we have a listing of over 300 different types of speaker surrounds.

Over the years, we have developed certain parts that have not been available. And here, we would like to introduce our new rubber surrounds for Tannoy 15" transducers.

These butyl rubber surrounds will not deteriorate over time like the foams, and will ensure you a long and lasting musical pleasure in the years to come.

We have designed these surrounds to perfectly match the contour on Tannoy cones. The inner lip is reverse angled, and roll curvature set broader on the outer side / sharper on the inner side, precisely in correspondence with the original surrounds. The same low profile roll makes it suitable to be accomodated even in front-loaded horn Westminster Royal enclosures.
(We have found that some aftermarket surrounds have rolls with too much height.)

The flexible, high compliance roll ensures deep bass, and will have little effect on your speaker's original performance. Difference will be hardly noticable in most applications. These will outperform original foams, with their superb durability and damping characteristics.

Applicable:
Most Tannoy 15" (38cm) transducers originally fitted with foam surrounds. Dual Concentric Transducers installed in Westminster, Westminster Royal, Autograph, Arden, Berkley and many more. (namely HPD385, HPD385A, DC385, DU385, DC386, 3828, K3838, DC3839, 3839 etc., all in which have cones with reversed angled edges. Will fit all units originally with "Tanoplus" and foam surrounds.)

* These will NOT fit units originally fitted with pleated cloth surrounds, such as 3808 and 3809.
