Triple Victory - Framed Canvas Art with F-16 Fighter Relic - 30" x 20"

This framed, limited edition Canvas Fine Art Print autographed by Artist Craig Tinder commemorates Retired Col. Robert "Wilbur" Wright and his actions on 28 February 1994.

This print was illustrated in conjunction with Col. Wright in order to ensure detail-level accuracy, all the way to the phase of the moon that fateful morning.

About the Print:

28 February 1994 - Two F-16C Vipers from the 526th Fighter Squadron "Black Knights" engaged six Serbian J-21 Jastreb aircraft which had entered a no-fly zone to conduct a bombing raid. "Black 03" piloted by Capt. Robert "Wilbur" Wright downed three of the J-21s, scoring direct hits with an AIM-120 AMRAAM and two AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles, the first single-mission triple victory by a U.S. Air Force pilot since the Korean War.

About the Artifact:

16 Sept 1997 – Two F-16 Jet Fighter Jets (F-16D 84-1320 & F-16C 84-1286) from the New Jersey Air National Guard Collided Off the coast en-route to training area “Whiskey-07” 40 Miles from Atlantic City. All crewmen survived the incident. This relic is from the recovery of F-16D 84-1320. Craig Tinder has been an aviation artist since 1999 and specializes in rivet-level accuracy. Raised on the fences of the Reno Air Races, Craig has had the opportunity to create illustrations for Medal of Honor Recipients, WWII Aces, as well as the families of veterans looking to commemorate their loved ones.
