Damage: Age appropriate wear. Tarnish on the sterling silver gives the ring an antique quality we believe is rather lovely. The gold wash has some green oxidization and is coming off in places, the price has been reduced to reflect this.

Discovered in 1892, Cubic zirconia (CZ) is the cubic crystalline form of zirconium oxide. It wasn’t until the 1930’s that scientist discovered how to melt and create a refractory substance that CZ was crafted into diamond-simulating stones for jewelry. The synthesized material is hard, optically flawless, usually colorless, and much less expensive than a natural diamond, which makes it a great alternative in rings, bracelets and other types of jewelry.
