Magazine, Polish release

 - This music - in the mid 1980s - did not arouse recognition of Polish jazz veterans who treated young revolutionists with contemptuous superiority. Who are we talking about? The history of, among others Young Power and Woo Boo Doo are introduced by Konrad Wojciechowski.

- Comus was one of the most original groups of the 1970s. It is hard to find another band that, with a similar effect, was able to convey the madness of wild folk intersecting with psychedelia and darkness. The achievements of this somewhat forgotten group are reminiscent of Paweł Pałasz.

- Aquila is another single-platter whose history is remembered by the tireless Piotr Chlebowski.

- Rafał Zbrzeski's Jazz Canon has always been an invitation to the world of jazz - this time its hero is Archie Shepp and his album The Magic of Ju-Ju.

- Psychedelic still on the rise. In the previous issue, we looked at the first wave of this trend. This time it's time for albums from the 70s and 80s. - Bartosz Buchholz, Marcin Bronhard, Bartosz Leśniewski and Jacek Świegoda chose twenty pearls from those years.

- I run to you with a word, A Call for a Clink of Glass, Follow My Dreams - an informal triptych and an undisputed classic of Polish rock. Piotr Chlebowski looks at the SBB team during its struggle with great forms.

- The re-releases of classic albums from the Polish SBB catalog are discussed by Piotr Chlebowski, Piotr Kopka, Bartosz Leśniewski and Michał Pick.

- New SBB material? Piotr Chlebowski listened to the concert publishing house "I am in love - Live, recorded with the participation of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice."

- Ginger Baker is rightly considered one of the most brilliant drummers in rock history. Marcin Ciupek looks at his achievements - deliberately avoiding Cream and Blind Faith - and selects the tastiest morsels from it.

- The contour of the face shown in profile and the inscription Brain on the top of the head - no big deal, and it can electrify almost every customer of a vinyl store. Piotr Kopka and Bartosz Leśniewski are browsing the catalog of this German label.

- An energetic girl disguised as a mature woman, i.e. the ideal of a complete artist. Michał Pick is watching Björk's figure.

- The non-obvious ten The Moody Blues - in the ultra-subjective choice of Gerard Nowak.

- In "Lizard" we try to write about outstanding, good, and possibly noteworthy albums. This time we will focus on those with various disadvantages. Aleksander Filipowski presents a progressive anti-canon.

- In the review section, incl. Paul McCartney, Frank Zappa, Andrzej Przybielski & Oleś Brothers.

- Piotr Kopka from the blog Literatura sautée and Damian Bydliński from Lizard in Bielsko share their observations about music and more in their nearby columns.

- This time the buyer's guide - which should not come as a surprise - covers the achievements of the SBB group. Piotr Kopka organizes their discography.
