Five volumes by the Poetry Bookshop; Georgian Poetry 1913-15. 1915 first edition; Georgian Poetry 1920-22. 1922 first edition in dust jacket; Recent Poetry 1923-33. 1933 first editions, one in dust jacket (three duplicate volumes). Generally very good in good to very good dust jackets. Internally mostly clean and bright, just a touch of offsetting and scattered foxing in places, usually very light. An attractive part set, the 1920-22 first issue containing the first appearance in book form of D. H. Lawrence’s The Snake, with many other contributors including Edmund Blunden, Robert Graves, Vita Sackville-West, T. S. Eliot, Cecil Day Lewis, Rupert Brooke, and many others.
