Accomplished artists Diane May Hamilton de Causse and Genevieve Bartlett Hamilton were sisters who worked together in 1936 to 1937 at Vernon Kilns in Vernon, CA, creating an art ware line of vases, figurines, plaques and two dinnerware lines.

The Hamilton sisters achieved international recognition in early 1937 for their ceramic examples that traveled on a European tour.
