Wearing traditional clothing, a group of three Ghanaian musicians play the flute, drum, and ngoni stringed instrument in a performance. Their rhythm impregnates this work with infinite lines, symbols, and equations. I use watercolor and ink alongside rulers to give this multicolored painting the appearance of mathematic and scientific schemata.
