In fair condition with some wear to corners of boars and edges of spines. Hinges in working order; volume I slightly more worn. Bookplate from previous owner inside volume II. A scarce set of two volumes in their original binding, comprising a history of Woodbury, Connecticut from the 17th to the 19th century. Each volume contains several black & white illustrations, including a frontispiece engraving of the author in volume I. A nice set for an American history collection.
