The Saudi Arabia 1 Riyal banknote is part of the 1984 issues. It is brown in color and measures 135 x 62 mm. The obverse side shows the front of the 7th-century Amawi gold dinar, first Islamic coin and King Fahd. The reverse side features a countryside with flowers and the national emblem (two crossed swords with a palm tree). This banknote uses a (security thread) and contains a watermark with a King Fahd design.
