The banknotes obverse portrays a picture of revolutionary leader Dr. John Garang de Mabior who served as the first Vice President of the country. It also shows a Dinka warrior spear. The back of the paper bill features a herd of giraffes. The note is 126 x 67 mm in size and bears a watermark that reflects the denomination and a portrait of a man. It also carries a windowed security thread with the denomination. Additionally, it has the signatures of Alija Malok Aleng and David Den Athorbei. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
