Vintage Safety Glasses Welding Goggles Steampunk Cosplay.

This ancient pair of goggles has VERY little information on it. However by combining other ads and photos I’ve been able to glean, here it what I have (or haven’t) figured out:

Facts:

- These are cool goggles. Reminiscent of WW2 air combat fighter goggles, these would be perfect for steampunk or cosplay style. (Gnomish inventor anyone? Heck yeah!)

- The case is old... like VERY old, and I'm 83% sure it's leather??
It was extremely hard to read anything but based on other photos I found this is what it should say:

Welshade Absorptive Glass Welshweld Glass
Industrial Eye Protection Services

Spectacle Goggles
Welding Goggles
Choppers Goggles
Welding Helmets
Welding Shields

What’s included:
- Super awesome, VERY old “Type B” welders goggles with adjustable straps
- ancient leather? case
- (2x) dark lens welding lenses

Everything is old and has scratches and would need to be cleaned, however these are the coolest goggles I’ve ever seen. No idea when these were originally manufactured, but I suspect the “plastic” is Bakelite (the plastic-ish stuff that existed before plastic went mainstream in the 1950’s)

NOTE: PRODUCT IS IN GOOD PHYSICAL CONDITION, BUT HAS NOT BEEN TESTED AS EYE PROTECTION FROM WELDING. ITEM IS SOLD AS IS.

(At the time of this posting, I unfortunately do not have a way to test to make sure it works)

Grandpa's Warehouse Disclaimer:
-
--------------------------------------------

The name "Grandpa's Warehouse" is quite literal. We are currently in the middle of clearing out and going through my father-in-law's former possessions. He was an Engineer, Music Enthusiast, and quite a bit of a Tech Guy and Tool guy. That being said, he had a TON of stuff, and I cannot guarantee the items posted on here will meet it's exact function. I do try my best to test everything I list, and I will mention what has been tested or not tested on each item, but all items are sold AS-IS.

Please don't hesitate to ask any questions prior to purchase.
