All our picture frames come with a shatter-proof, perspex/styrene sheet instead of glass.
Our perspex/styrene is an excellent replacement for glass, ideal for use within children's rooms, play areas, offices, clubs, restaurants and cafes. The perspex/styrene sheet has very high clarity with very little difference in appearance from glass once hanging on the wall.
The perspex/styrene sheet comes with a protective film on both sides to protect from scratches and damage during the manufacturing process and whilst in transit. The protective film may give an initial impression of being scratched, however once peeled off, the perspex/styrene is effectively indistinguishable from glass.

How to Pick The Correct Picture Frame Size
All sizes given on the listing are the photo sizes, i.e. the size of the photo to fit inside the frame. The overall size of the frame and the viewing window will be different from the size given.
Our Frame sizes refer to the size of the area the picture will be placed in within the frame, not including the border of the frame itself.
The frames have a rebate of 8mm by 4mm, the internal depth of the frame is 8mm with a 4mm lip to hold the styrene, picture and backing board in place.
When a picture is placed inside the frame, approximately 4mm of your picture will be covered from all sides
