ORGANIC TEDDY BEAR CHOLLA CACTUS WOOD ROOT

This is a root off a cholla cactus. Ive never seen one even close to this long. It is very strong up to about the last 4 to 6 ". I know it is safe for pets because the cholla is safe for pets. I don't know if Ill ever get another one.

It would make a great bird perch or for reptiles.

Please look at all pictures. When it is laying down in the pictures is its actual color. The pictures of it standing is very dark.

Below is the description of my wood I sale, it is the wood this root came from.

Cholla wood CAN NOT be cleaned by spraying with water or with an air hose or brushing it takes alot more then that.

They have pieces of excess cactus that does not come off like that , But will come off in your tank,That's why I do what I do to clean these, as I describe below plus more.

My cholla wood is very clean .

If you purchase a piece from someone else and are not happy please don't get discouraged , try mine and you can see the difference. Others seem not to like to clean there wood but I enjoy it ,and I am very meticulous about my wood. I feel that I am creating something like art every piece I do , because it is so different then how it comes from the desert when it's cleaned

There are no pesticides on or even near my area.

I know everyone has there own unique style that they like so I've been working very hard trying to list a variety.

My customers say The cholla wood pieces I sale are better then they expected . Pictures just do not do them justice.Take a look at my feedback.

I'm not sure if the pictures just don't show the size properly . But everyone loves it even more after they receive it.

This is not the small thick cholla which is staghorn cholla, this is the large cholla which is teddy bear cholla. But I do have both

I scrub these with a brush spray them with air compressor , spray with clear water . I scrap what's loss in the inside out

I also boil these to treat them.

I've also started soaking them for a little while before I spray with clear water and boil them .

I do a very through job cleaning these my husband says to through :)

I sell these for all sorts of different things even though they are cleaned boiled and washed , sometimes they do still leach brown into water. Before sticking these in a fish tank they still need to be soaked to make sure the brown leach will not come out .So just put them in a bucket of water and let them sit to check before adding to a fish tank to make sure. Everyone says different things ,some say they go right in ,some say soak over night and some say they soak them for several days.

I get these from the desert near me or on my property. They are cactus' that have died no cactus' are harmed .

I am always listing different sizes and shapes as I get them cleaned treated .

Some large log type pieces

These are used for fish aquariums, reptiles , birds, rabbits and other small animal that like to chew on them. Fish and hermit crabs like to hide in them .In order for these to sink in water they have to be completely saturated.

They are also used for crafts , lawn art and decorations in your home , air plants , orchids.

These are very pretty with AIR PLANTS in them and they are light weight so you can hang them easily . Some are a little heavier then others so email if your wanting to know the weight. An easy way to tell is the thickness at the ends . But they are all pretty light.
