In 1950 (Showa 25), Tama Keiki Co., Ltd. was established and started operation at the wristwatch manufacturing plant in present-day Hino City, and the company name was changed to Orient Watch Co., Ltd. the following year. That year, the Orient Star was born with the image of a "shining star." Introducing the Orient Star equipped with a new movement of "46 series F7", small seconds. Both a spacious dial design and a case design that looks thin. The case and band are made of SUS316L, which has excellent corrosion resistance. The rug mirror surface part with a strong impression is polished by a craftsman to realize a beautiful design with an edge. Visibility has also been improved by adopting a long minute hand that reaches the scale and a SAR coating. In addition, the power reserve has been improved from the conventional 40 hours to 50 hours.
