The DL4, which was released in 1999, has gained a strong following from musicians around the world for more than 20 years.

The DL4 Mk II inherits the simple user interface of the DL4 and features 15 new Mk II delays inherited from the well-established HX family of amplifiers and effects.

■Simple and robust construction

The same knobs and footswitch layout as the original DL4 provides a familiar experience. The case is made of aluminum that can withstand harsh environments.

■30 delay models

In addition to the 15 delays included in the original DL4, 15 new delays have been added to the Helix/HX family. The range of sound production has greatly expanded.

■Advanced looper function

4 switch or 1 switch looper can record up to 240 seconds. You can also use a microSD card (sold separately) to extend the recording time up to a few hours.

■Full range of input and output terminals

In addition to the standard stereo phone input/output jacks, it also features XLR input jacks for dynamic microphones and acoustic instruments, MIDI In/Out/Through jacks, expression pedals, and up to two footswitch jacks. Versatility and scalability have also been improved.

■Three bypass types

The bypass type can be selected from buffered, DSP, or true. Buffered and true bypass can be output directly without A/D/A conversion of the input signal.

■Compact, lightweight and compatible with DC power supply

Compared to the original model, it is significantly smaller and lighter, and mobility is improved. In addition to the included -1 g DC power adapter, a standard 9 V center negative power supply is also available.
