This was an expensive book in the 70s, but it was large and full of thick paper lithographs of famous paintings of thoroughbreds that people could use as wall art. They didn't have color printers or color copy machines in those days. It makes a beautiful coffee table book. Unfortunately, the book cover is torn as it has been used exactly for that purpose.
