Antique Rare Wax Head German Doll.

She is a little over 13" tall.

On her original Sonneberg body that could be restrung. Its loose but I left it as is all the years in my collection. I will include her stand. Her nose came to me as you see it. The tip has flattened as someone stored her laying flat. These wax dolls need to remain upright. And believe it or not , they are more prone to temperature damage from COLD then heat. Certainly keep it at room temperature. Yes extremely hot temps could damage it too. But look...she is in pretty good condition for almost 150 years old. Had being made in Germany before turn of century. Her blond mohair wig and delicate bonnet are original and never removed. Clothing is antique French style satin dress I do not recommend laundering it or hand washing. It is all odor free.

Blue glass set eyes with Steiner doll threaded iris. Made me think it was a rare Steiner doll. But alas no .

Tiny open mouth with adorable super tiny teeth.wondetful painting of face. Upper and lower lashes. Much wear to her lower lip paint. Legs have age splits but are stable. One arm has also age stable split.

This doll is SUPER RARE!!!

YOU may not find another with this wax cup and saucer neck attachment. Its a first for me to find.

Her head is NOT removable. This guarantees all parts are original to doll.

Comes with French style leather shoes and old socks.

One piece French style antique dress.

Two half slips. One looks maybe newer. Not sure.

And antique bloomers that button on back.

Again she is a loose strung doll . But still poses on stand thats included.

Did I mention she has desirable 8 ball body? Original paint and Finnish.

All appendages intact no damage to them. Again age spiting to arms and legs that are stable.
