The Peru 1,000 Soles de Oro Banknote is part of the 1976-1985 Sol de Oro series which introduced minor changes in engravings, printer imprints, and serial number fonts. This banknote issued in 1981 is green, brown, red, and yellow in color and measures 150 x 75 mm. The obverse side features naval battle hero Miguel Grau, as well as Perus Coat of Arms. Meanwhile, the reverse side shows three fishermen in a boat with nets and ropes. This banknote has no security thread but is watermarked with the image of Miguel Grau.
