Vintage Retro Western Electric Telephone Serial #877221 Model CHABC. Good solid old fashioned looking phone. You can see by the purchase sticker on the bottom of the phone that it was purchased in 1984. I bought this phone for my mother as a Christmas or birthday present. She & I would watch old movies together when I was little, and I thought it looked like something Doris Day would use in a movie. My mom loved the phone and used it on her bedside table from the time i gave it to her until she no longer had a landline (which was recent). The phone needs some cleaning and polishing up, but it still works great. The base is made out of brown wood-look and black glossy plastic. It is 8 1/2"x6 3/4". The total height of the phone is 9". The phone has brass toned accents. The rotary dial is brass and 3" wide. The face is white enameled metal. The ringer is an old fashioned bell. There is a loudness adjustment for the ringer on the underside of the phone. The 6ft black telephone cord pictured is included. The coiled cord on the handle was originally 2ft long, but hangs a bit longer because it is a little stretched out.
