This 5 Belizean dollar note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Belize. It is a red, carmine, and orange note that is dated 01 November 2011, bear the signatures of Glenford Ysaguirre and Joseph Waight, and measures 140 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features Queen Elizabeth II and the medal of Thomas Potts. Its reverse side shows different views and the map of St. George’s Caye and the coffin of Thomas Potts. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetallized BELIZE and a watermark of a carved head of the “sleeping giant” with an electrotype FIVE. Additionally, the note is qualified for PMG’s Exceptional Paper Quality (EPQ) and an above average centering. The note is graded 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
