The Indonesia 10,000 rupiah banknote from 2014 promotes the 8th sultan of the Palembang Sultanate Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II who is now a national hero of the country. The obverse side of the note also carries the bank logo as a registration device and the nations Coat of Arms. The back of this rupiah banknote displays the Rumah Limas which are traditional houses on stilts in Palembang. Signed by Governor Perry Warjiyo and former Governor Agus Martowardojo, the Indonesia 10,000 rupiah banknote has a solid security thread with printed BI 10000. This 145 x 65 mm also has a watermark of Mahmud Badaruddin II and an electrotype logo.
