In developing this pedal, we compared many clones on the market, as well as many vintage TS pedals, and listened to a variety of sounds. It was a lot of work, but the trials were very beneficial. Based on the results of these trials, the Palisades is now the most versatile and versatile TS overdrive in the world.

Overdrive sounds vary greatly depending on the combination of guitar and amp.

The six clipping voices and five dynamics settings ensure that you will always find the sweet spot, even with these different combinations. The two gain channels cover a wide range of different playing styles, and the 6-mode clipping voice lets you choose between distortion, open, tight, and edge strength, while the 5-mode dynamics setting lets you switch between compression, response, and thickness of the distortion. The 5-mode is the most important switch for creating tones.

■ Versatile Controls
The Palisades has a volume boost that can be adjusted by footswitch switching & the Boost knob. This is effective for use in pushing the front end of a lead amp. The boost switch is built into the circuit and cannot be used independently.

In addition, there is a Normal/Bright switch that looks like the input stage of an amplifier. Finally, a Buffer ON/OFF switch is also included to cover both the original and modified systems.

■Two gain channels
Low gain channel Gain A: Ideal for strumming and cutting chords.
High gain channel Gain B: Tight sound. Ideal for muted ticking and shredded lead tones.

● Boost
Allows you to set the amount of boost when the Boost switch is turned on.
● Volume
Adjusts the volume.
● Tone
Adjusts the tone. Turn clockwise for a brighter tone and counterclockwise for a warmer tone.
● Gain A
Channel A gain setting.
● Gain B
Channel B gain setting.
● Normal/Bright
Normal mode produces a warmer tone, while Bright mode emphasizes high frequencies. Buffer
● Buffer
This is the input buffer ON/OFF switch, which produces a tight, bright tone when OFF and a warm tone when ON. This switch is only active when the effect is on, and is true bypass when bypassed.
● Bandwidth
This is a 5-mode dynamics switch. It can be used in combination with Gain and Voice to achieve great effects.
● Voice
This is a 6-mode clipping selector switch.
Mode 1: Clipping bypass
Mode 2: Light LED clipping
Mode 3: Light gain, harmonic-rich MOSFET clipping
Mode 4: Tight, asymmetrical silicon clipping similar in tone to vintage TS808
Mode 5. Compression-heavy, distortion-like symmetrical silicon clipping (same mode as original TS808)
Mode 6: Schottky diode clipping with a light fuzzy tone.
● Footswitch
Activiate: True bypass switch. Provides overall bypass.
Gain B: Channel switching, switches to channel B when on.
Boost: Boost switch.
Power supply: Powered by a standard center-minus 2.1mm barrel type DC9V adapter.
Batteries are not available. We do not recommend using a multi-plug cable to supply power that splits the current.
Adapters should be used for instruments. Also, do not use a voltage exceeding 9V.
