The note was issued to commemorate the "Culture and Sports Week Hamburg" from August 12 - August 24, 1921. The obverse side of the note depicts a column with a statue of a running man holding an olive branch in the center. The denomination along with German text can be seen on the bottom front. The reverse side of the note is printed with a statue, an old building, and a ship. The note varies in size and does not contain any security threads nor watermarks.
