The Uganda 50 Shilling banknote is part of the family of notes issued by the Bank of Uganda in 1996 as necessitated by high inflation rate. The obverse of the red banknote depicts the coat of arms, the outline map of Uganda, and the seal of the Bank of Uganda. Featured on the back of the note is the Parliament building in Kampala. The paper bill is 142 x 69 mm in size and bears a solid security thread. Additionally, it has a crested crane as its watermark design. This Uganda 50 Shilling banknote is in uncirculated condition.
