The China 1 Jiao Banknote was issued by the People’s Bank of China in 1980, featuring images of several ethnic minority groups in the Peoples' Republic of China. Its obverse shows Gaoshan and Manchu men wearing their traditional clothing. The back side shows the national emblem and the inscription People's Bank of China one Jiao in four scripts: Mongolian, Tibetan, Uyghur and Zhang, the 4 principal ethnic minority languages supported by the state. This banknote has shades of brown and yellow and measures 115 x 52 mm. It has no security thread or watermark. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
