The Cyprus 1 Pound Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Cyprus in 2004. It has hints of brown, orange, green, and black. The obverse of the paper bill depicts a Cypriot girl dressed in a traditional costume, the coat of arms of Cyprus with a dove carrying an olive branch, the map of Cyprus, and birds. The reverse features houses and trees in Lefkara village, and handicraft products such as blankets, vases, and lacework. The note bears a windowed security thread with a demetallized KTK and a watermark that reveals the Bust of Aphrodite. The note is 140 x 68 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition.
