The Saudi Arabia 100 Riyals banknote is part of the 2009 issues. It is red in color and measures 160 x 72 mm. The obverse side shows a green dome and minaret of Al-Masjid al-Nabawi (Prophets Mosque) in Medina and King Abdullah. The reverse side features Al-Masjid al-Nabawi and the national emblem (two crossed swords with a palm tree). This banknote uses a windowed security thread with demetalized 100 and Arabic text between wavy lines and contains a watermark with a King Abdullah, electrotype 100, and cornerstones design.
