All spreader boards are the same size (you can see in the photo) but are made from different types of wood and you can choose what you prefer. To mount the central pin with an insect, a strip of cork wood is installed in the groove.

Linden, poplar, alder and willow are the most common materials for the production of insect blocks. Below you can see the density of each tree composition.
