This beautiful Victorian solid sterling silver Vesta case is oval, featuring a vacant cartouche and gilded interior

The case is fully hallmarked for sterling silver, the city of Birmingham, the year 1901, by the maker Samuel M Levi

The lid snaps closed as it should

The Vesta case is free from any monograms and personalisation and is in excellent antique condition, it has a couple of tiny dents/bruising and the gilding is worn in places which is all entirely commensurate with its age
