Each has a circular profile, is 17.8 cm long and 0.7 cm in diameter.

The E S & A Robinson company was founded in Bristol, England in 1844. Originally a producer of packaging materials, the company expanded into stationery and ran until 1966 when it merged with John Dickinson company.
