The Congo Democratic Republic 10,000 Franc banknote is part of the family of notes released by the Central Bank of Congo in 2012. The violet banknote features two gnus, a carved statuette, and a holographic patch on its obverse. The reverse of the paper bill depicts a bird on a branch with plantain plants and fruits in the background. The backnote is 151 x 72 mm in size and bears a windowed security thread with demetalized RD Congo. It also has a watermark that reveals the head of a leopard and an electrotype 10000. The note also carries a registration device in the form of a map with RDC visible on the obverse and CDC on the back. This paper bill has been graded 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
