Notes:
-Does not come with any batteries (for non USB-C Modded Units) or games.
-Original Shell systems may exhibit signs of normal wear.
-Due to the higher draw of the new IPS screens, it is recommended that you use good high quality AA batteries or a good A/C Power Cord. I also have USB A/C power cords available in a separate listing (If in stock).
-Due to the irregular refresh rate of the DMG motherboard, some flickering of pixels may be present, especially in retro mode and/or when batteries get low.
Screen Upgrade:
-The RetroPixel screen by Funnyplaying has multiple color palettes to choose from, and also has a retropixel mode! Colors are changed by pushing the new contrast wheel in once, then flicking it up or down to pick your color. Pushing it again puts in into brightness mode. Flick the wheel up and down in this mode to set brightness. To change pixel modes, push in and hold the contrast wheel.
USB Type C Battery Mod:
-XL USB-C Battery by CleanJuice
-Gives the Gameboy around 8-12 hours of playing time. This may vary based on screen settings, audio and game played.
-Recharges in around an hour.
-LED indicator Key
- Blue + Orange = Battery charging
- Blue Only = Fully charged
