"M Alvarez Bravo" is a 45 page (plus 82 plates), 8.75"x11.25" hardcover written by Jane Livingston and published in 1978 by David R. Godine (Boston) and The Corcoran Gallery of Art (Washington, DC) in an edition of 1,000 hardcover and 2,000 softcover copies. It's inscribed and signed by Bravo on the half-title page. It's a monograph on the work of Manuel Alvarez Bravo of Mexico, "one of the most important figures in 20th century Latin American photography," according to Wikipedia. There are essays on his work by Livingston and Alex Castro, reproductions of 82 of his photographs, biographical notes, a list of his exhibitions, and a bibliography.

The book is in very good condition, in a good condition dust jacket. Large portions of the jacket are sunned, there's an inch-long tear at front top, smaller tears at the top of the spine and at back top, edge wear, rubbing, a few small spots. The olive green cloth boards have faded along the bottom edge. There's a small pencil mark to the half-title page. The binding is firm.
