3KW Induction Furnace Metal Melting Smelt Gold Copper Iron 1600℃ with Crucible

This equipment uses high frequency induction heating, induction heating technology Induction heating is a fast, efficient, accurate and repeatable new method of non-contact heating or other conductive materials.

How exactly does induction heating work? It helps to have a basic understanding of the principles of electricity. When an alternating electrical current is applied to the primary of a transformer, an alternating magnetic field is created. According to Faraday's Law, if the secondary of the transformer is located within the magnetic field, an electric current will be induced.

In a basic induction heating setup shown in, a solid state RF power supply sends an AC current through an inductor (often a copper coil),and the part to be heated (the workpiece) is placed inside the inductor. The inductor serves as the transformer primary and the part to be heated becomes a short circuit secondary. When a metal part is placed within the inductor and enters the magnetic field, circulating eddy currents are induced within the part.

1. How high temperature can be reached?

Answer: With our standard configuration of 70ML graphite cyanide (can accommodate 1KG gold), continuous heating can reach 1100°C for 5 minutes, 1500°C in 10 minutes, and up to 1600°C in 15 minutes. If we use the special quenching coil configured by us, quenching the suitable workpiece, according to the different size of the workpiece, the quenching process of about 800°C can be completed within one second to two or three minutes (small workpiece time is short, large workpiece time is long) .

2. Which metals can be melted?

Answer: Using our standard configuration of 70ML graphite cyanide altar can melt about 1000g of gold, about 500g of silver, about 500g of copper, about 300g of aluminum, and about 200g of iron at one time (but it is not recommended to melt iron, iron will accelerate the oxidation of graphite cyanide), the metal The melting point is different, the weight is different, and the time is different, but most of them can be melted within ten minutes.
