This is a unique set of three large round nesting tables forming a big 80+ inches wide coffee table made in France in the late 1970s from a beautiful French slate, with yellow lacquer wood bases. The thick surface of each table feels strong and slick, the slate being from Savoie in the French Alps, while the yellow lacquered base gives a bright and lively feel. The result is a sophisticated, naturalist look. A rare find, fully repolished and renewed, feet relacquered, found in a great condition. This set of coffee tables allows for some customization, as the tables can be moved around freely and interlocked into different designs. Their dimensions are Diameter 51.2 inches (130 cms) x Height 13.0 inches (33 cms) for the largest, Diameter 37.4 inches (95 cms) x Height 11.4 inches (29 cms) for the middle one, and Diameter 27.5 inches (70 cms) x Height 9.8 inches (25 cms) for the smallest. This rare set, though it has clean lines, is also highly decorative and truly original.
