Spindowns offer a compact and convenient way to keep track of a player's life total, Planeswalker loyalty, power/toughness modifiers, and many other in-game counters.  Spindowns have consecutive numbers wrapped around the die rather than the opposite-side/balanced distribution on a typical 20-sided die.  

Each die measures approximately 22 mm/0.87 inches.  An OVERSIZED spindown (available in bundle boxes from the more recent expansions) is about 1½ times larger or approximately 33mm/1.3 inches.  Each die weighs around half an ounce.
