Vintage 19" Hand Wood Burned Dyed Horror Bride of Frankenstein Cutting Board
I found this old cutting board at auction. You can see what the unfinished side looks like in picture #4. Both Sides looked like that when I started. I used sandpaper to sand off the finish on the flat side and then I used carbon paper to trace the pattern on the wood. I then burned in the black lines and used Aniline dyes for the color. After that, I used Howard Food Grade butcher block conditioner to seal it and make it ready to use.
