An uncirculated Bank of England one pound note CS83 110544, bearing the Chief Cashier David Somerset's name.  He was the chief cashier between 1980 and 1988, though the issue of pound notes ended in 1984, so the date of this one would be between 1980 and 1984. The third photo shows the group of 6 that the note in this lot comes from. Had the note been in general circulation it is extremely unlikely that it would be in sequence with its siblings.
