This vintage piece was introduced in 1986 and retired in 1997.  It has 1986 imprinted on the  bottom of the piece,  the year of issue.
Although it has been previously displayed, it is in excellent condition,  with no flaws or defects. The colors are still vivid and bright.  Handpainted ceramic in the traditional Department 56 quality, it is very attractive.  It depicts a white clapboard steepled church with an attached great pine tree accented with some snow. It is a fine representation of a typiical small church in small town America. It comes complete with a light cord in the original packaging, which is in excellent condition. It is a large piece.
