Here is a fine pair of  vintage 1970s to 1990s Church's Consul Oxford cap toe  shoes.    The detailing is full of character.     These shoes are Goodyear welted for durability.  They have been repaired at least once by a skilled cobbler.  This can be done again.   The shoes are stretched to a wide G fitting and this heavy wear is evident on the heels.  These shoes suit a person with wide heels, compared to when these shoes left the factory.  They are more like a size 10.  The uppers are made of fantastic bookbinder leather, which is scuffed at the toes, well patinated, but has many years of life left in it.  These are perfect business, wedding and RAF parade shoes which compliment a Savile Row suit.  They are an iconic Made in England classic from Northampton.  Treat yourself and grab a bargain.
