Item Description:
Before ordering, please make sure that you have an EAM and not an ESAM model (it's on the type plate). This thermoblock is only suitable for the DeLonghi EAM coffee machines listed below. If the device no longer heats up, or the coffee is no longer really hot, or the machine hisses inside, then this thermoblock is usually the cause.
When you open the door to the brew group and have removed the brew group, you can shine a flashlight upwards in the direction of the heating piston. If there is rust on the thermoblock retaining plate, then it is high posiibility to replace the Delonghi thermoblock. The thermoblock is attached with 4 long screws. These retaining nuts are accessible from the front and rear.
It is strongly recommended to always replace the thermal sensor with the thermal block, otherwise the new thermal block can be damaged again relatively quickly due to incorrect values from the sensor.
