Vintage, Rubens Nursery Planter Japan. 1950’s. Baby girl with anthropomorphic diaper pins.

Rubens mark & numbered 1045M. Really vintage and unique nursery planter. Very 50’s!

In good vintage condition. A couple of chips. One on the bottom of the planter and one on right side. See photo 6 for visible chip. Crazing commensurate with her age.

Cold paint is bright with glossy finish. Hand painted with wonderful detail on the expressive faces on the baby girl as well as on the diaper pin ‘family’. Really adorable!

Can’t help but smile when looking at her sweet face.
