This is a beautiful Belgium coffee table signed by Christian Krekels in the late 1970s. The table features a beautiful decorative etched brass table top, and is set on a large wood base covered with brass. The rectangular top with vividly detailed etched lines seems to float above the base. The technique that she used is acid-etched brass, creating an unique geometric pattern, emphasising the expressiveness of the design and structuring the surface. It has been fully restored and repolished, and is found in a beautiful condition, with a very nice patina. A highly decorative centrepiece that immediately gets your attention.
