This is a less common, extremely desirable, brilliant, beautiful, "Hit List 40" VAM-7 "Rusted Date" (O/O, Pitted Obverse, Dbl 880)1880 New Orleans Morgan.  There's a lot going on with this die pair including some doubling on the reverse legend, an entirely doubled reverse motto, cracks, chips, & pits.  I've attached two close-ups of key die markers including the rust pits around the date & O/O mint mark with bow polishing lines.  This is already a less common Morgan with a lower initial mintage and less numerous modern release.  Add to it the limited micro O/O rusted date die pair and it it becomes somewhat scarce.

This New Orleans Morgan has average strike for that mint.  Original satin-like mint luster is there and cartwheel is nice.  It has very light contact marks uniformly on both sides, and no dings.  All in all it seems to have been handled and stored a little bit poorly pushing it to the just below mint grade of 58.  Please review the photos and scans carefully to determine condition and value yourself before purchase.  The first two photos are high resolution and you can zoom in well.  Ships USPS First Class package service with ground tracking.
