The Canada 5 Dollar Banknote is part of the polymer issues of the Bank of Canada released in 2013. The blue and green colored banknote features a maple leaf and a portrait of 7th prime minister Wilfrid Laurier wearing a suit. The reverse of the note depicts stars, Canadarm2, Dextre, and an astronaut above Canada on earth. It also displays a maple leaf. The banknote contains a holographic stripe with Wilfrid Laurier and the tower of the West Block of Parliament in Ottawa. The note does not have a security thread and watermark. It is 152 x 70 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition.
