Each map is decorated with 12 small vignettes all around, as animals, indigenous, soldiers, etc...
On the Eastern hemisphere, the mail route is coloured in blue.
The map has been drawn & engraved by J. Rapkin, the illustrations drawn by H. Warren & engraved by J. Rogers.
