SPOOKY #41 (HARVEY COMICS 1960).  A ghost doctor gives Spooky "pep pills" (see splash page photo).  How did this get past the COMICS CODE AUTHORITY?  Very unusual for 1960. Comic features WENDY and the GHOSTLY TRIO back-up stories. "Toy Special"--3 pages of toys advertising...  FINE (6.0) condition

This is a higher grade copy of this magazine with rich color and beautiful original gloss.  The spine shows light wear and a 3/4" split at the bottom--a problem that keeps this from grading higher.  The staples tightly bind the cover and all interior pages (centerfold photo provided).  There is chaffing along the top edge but no crease lines.  The back cover shows sunlight stripes at the top and bottom left corners.  The interior pages look cream.
