Revell  '34 Ford Phaeton Street Rod

Is Customized with HILBORN INJECTED 383 SMALL BLOCK ENGINE & TRANSMISSION, M/T SLICKS, HOOSIER WIDE OVALS WITH MAG WHEELS.  I built this as a car that can go to Bob’s Big Boys crushing  on Saturday night and go to the Drag Strip on Sunday.

This beautiful '34 Ford was one of the creations that was in the thick of the action when rodding was born in the late forties. Today, more than 50 years after the '34s rolled off the assembly lines, these classic machines are being constructed with a new style that has revolutionized the world of rodding. Clean lines and stylish graphics typify the latest high-tech trends.

Inspired by the creative talents of innovative designer Brian Bordon and noted builder Boyd Coddington, this 1/16th scale kit is awesome! It was built with stylish billet aluminum windshield posts DBL Window tinting and a lowered cabriolet simulated fabric top, and is removable.  The chassis is a modern TCI frame equipped with a Kugel front suspension and E-type Jaguar fully independent rear suspension fitted with billet components. Remove the stylish hood to expose the heart of any street rod, the motor.

The interior is a tour de force of contemporary design inspired by the latest trends in exotic street rods now being built in California. The contoured front seats and sculptured rear seats complement a high-tech console and instrument panel. It beckons the builder to enter and start the motor!
