Very Important Note:
1) This is NOT a bi-direction cable. It works only from the HDMI source to DisplayPort out. It cannot convert a DisplayPort source to HDMI out.
2) H21DP14 is a bypass cable, it just converts Standard HDMI signal to DisplayPort signal. It cannot downscale or upscale the resolutions. To get 7840X4320@30Hz out, you need to make sure the HDMI source is 7840X4320 30Hz and your monitor supports 7840X4320@30Hz also.
3) The input and output resolutions must be corresponding with each other. For example, when your PC’s HDMI port is of HDMI 2.1 and can output 3840X2160 120Hz, you can get 3840X2160 120hz when your monitor is capable of doing so. If your PC’s HDMI port can only support 4K 60Hz, the max. resolution of the DP out with H21DP14 is 4K 60Hz.
4) For PS4 Pro, PS5, and Xbox Series X users, to get 4K resolutions, the DisplayPort on your monitor must be capable of supporting 3840X2160 60Hz and HDCP 2.2 and above. If your monitor supports only 3440X1440 or other similar ultrawide 4k resolutions, the 4K options on your gaming console won’t be available as PS4 Pro, PS5, and Xbox series X can only support standard 4K Ultra HD resolution, namely 3840X2160.
